Vardan Kabra
Head Of School
Vardan Kabra (Head of School) is a B.Tech. & M.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering & Material Sciences from IIT Mumbai. After his Post-Graduation Diploma in Management from IIM Ahmedabad, he co-founded Fountainhead Preschool with Ankita. He has led the operations of Fountainhead School in Surat since its beginning in 2008. He’s also responsible for the overall academics and administration of the school, the teacher training & leadership development program at Fountainhead. He ensures that innovative pedagogy and student-centric education is brought into classroom practice through constant training and mentoring of teachers. Vardan’s passion for sports and arts has been translated into a strong culture of sports and arts for all Fountainhead stakeholders!
Bhumika Parmar
Senior School Principal
Bhumika Parmar (Senior School Principal) strongly believes that life is one big circle and you get back what you give in life. This philosophy has brought her a long way, both in personal and professional life. She has been associated with Fountainhead School since 2009, and has worked in varied roles as a home room teacher, Team leader and Middle Years Coordinator prior to taking up the current position. Her tenure at the school has given her a rich experience in understanding child psychology as well as the academic needs of the students and has been a mentor to students, parents and teachers alike. She holds a bright academic background with bachelors in Commerce as well as Law, and a Bachelor’s degree in education. She has also pursued a degree in School Leadership Management. She has been instrumental in setting up the systems and processes as well as the curriculum development in the Middle Years. She is also leading the IB Middle Years Program in school and ensures smooth administration of the DP program. Her vision of education is not limited to tangibles of academic achievements but goes well beyond that. She has an affinity for reading as well as travelling. Experience acquired in humility with hard work has shaped her personality.
Shezin Siganporia
Assistant DP Coordinator
Shezin Siganporia is a Chartered Accountant who enjoys taking new challenges. She is passionate about topics related to Finance and Business Management. She is a social media buff and likes exploring new places. Shezin has been working with FS since 2013. Dancing, reading and listening to music can be found on her hobby list.
Mohit Raninga
MLC Team Leader
Mohit Raninga joined Fountainhead School in February 2019, as MYP Integrated Sciences teacher. He has graduated in Engineering and specializes in Instrumentation and Control. He has worked with Essar Steel India Ltd. as Assistant manager before joining Fountainhead School. He feels extremely grateful for being in a profession where he can contribute towards the society. He keeps himself updated on the latest Technological advancements and Current affairs. He is extremely active in Social Service and has achieved several awards for the same. Apart from this he has keen interest in sports and he loves reading books. He feels that contributing towards shaping the students will provide this life overwhelming joy.
Vidhi Kalola
MLC Co-Team Leader
Vidhi Kalola joined Fountainhead in May 2021 as a Facilitator for Integrated Sciences. She is graduated from Pune University with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Charotar University of Science and Technology. She is currently finishing her final term of Ph.D. and is passionate about teaching and research has always been a core of her journey. Her major interests lie in knowing about different food items from around the world, travelling and interacting with new people. Her passion for bringing a change in the environment has made her an environmental enthusiast.
Mayuri Chitlangiya
MLC Facilitator
Mayuri joined Fountainhead School in Dec 2020 as MLC facilitator. She has completed her schooling from Mumbai and Surat. She is a semi-qualified CA and has a degree in law. She has been in the teaching profession since past 7 years. Travelling, writing, shopping, watching series, solitude with nature are her hobbies.
Tejas Gamit
MLC Facilitator
Tejas Gamit is an art soul. He holds a BA degree in Gujarati literature from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad. PGD in Human Resource Management from Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, Ahmedabad, and Masters in Theater Arts from The Academy Of Theater Arts, Mumbai university, Mumbai. He is a versatile artist.
Ravi Papoliwala
MLC, AS Robotics & STEM Facilitator
Ravi Papoliwala has pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in the field of Electronics & Communication. He has more than 7 years of experience in the field of robotics & electronics. He has participated in many international level robotics competitions (World robot olympiad, First LEGO league & Robotex) & prepared students for the Robotics competition. He loves to search about new technology & is a 21st century tech lover & STEAMOLOGIST (means robotics & STEM + Design + Art -> lover). He develops & Creates Electronics devices for Fountainhead School. He is cricket-lover (Play & watch cricket anytime), and is active in sports. He has joined FS as Facilitator(AS-Makers, MLC & Design) & Maker(School’s projects).
Batul Merchant
MLC Facilitator
Batul Merchant joined Fountainhead School in 2022. She has completed Masters in English Literature from V.N.S.G.U. and is a three times gold medalist. She likes composing poems. Her other areas of interest are cooking, baking and anything that calls for creativity.
Smera Shaju
MLC Facilitator
Smera was born in Kerala and brought up in Rajasthan. She completed post-graduation in English Literature from Loyola College (Autonomous), Chennai, and graduation from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Ahmedabad. She also holds a diploma in Journalism. She enjoys listening to music, reading books, and writing.
Jinal Kinariwala
Senior School Process Organiser
Jinal Kinariwala was born and brought up in Surat, Gujarat. She holds a Bacherlor’s of Arts in English. She has earlier worked as a Cabin Crew in one of India’s renowed airline. She is a big time foodie so her interest lies in Cooking in her leisure.
